KingDome King Dome
This new work is inspired by a glass dome on the top of the German parliament building. Inside this dome structure is a spiral slope that deprives people of the sense of direction.
The structure of this dome roof is reproduced with thick mineral glass. In addition, the slope inside the dome is reproduced with a rotary dial. The 3D index, a feature of Tendence, has also been newly designed to follow the shape of the dome.
The name of the series KingDome (King Dome) is the source of design inspiration `` Reichsterk (German parliament building) '' The word has two meaningsKINGDOM (empire) and DOME (dome) Is derived from.
This model adopts a dome-shaped glass designed to ensure waterproofness while eliminating the steps between the case and the glass in order to reproduce the glass-covered dome roof.
