For the spring of 2014, Yves Saint Laurent prepared special bottles and packages for its three fragrances under the collection of Yves Saint Laurent Edition Art. This is done in collaboration with the famous Norwegian artist Gardar Eide Einarsson. The artist hopes that the owners of these editions will experience them as something between scents and small works of art:
 
"I think these limited edition flacons can be considered as halfway between fragrances and works of art. For most men, it will just be their usual fragrance, but I think it could also have a secondary function, like a sort of miniature sculpture."
 
The first edition is L'Homme fragrance for men launched in 2006. L'Homme represents and symbolizes woods. With bergamot and lemon on top and its warm spicy heart with violet scent, it ends with a dominant woody base of vetiver and cedar.
 
The colors of the bottles remain somewhat neutral: beige and brown, black, and blue. The designs show irregular parallel lines that blur together into a multi-faceted shape in the middle of the flacon, where the brand and the name of the fragrance stand. The new bottles are available as limited editions in quantities of 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
